Fortress TSOTH Update
Carlos Warren, CEO of The Sound Of Thunder, has authorised an additional 2 billion ISK to be put towards increasing the defensive fortifications around our POS. The POS, named Fortress TSOTH, stands as a symbol of the ethos of The Sound Of Thunder. The committment to being independent and doing our thing, and leveraging unconventional methods to attain success against enemies who are more limited in their strategic thinking. In the era of citadels, every alliance now promotes the use of Astrahus, Fortizars, and Keepstars as the ultimate structure. POS are laughed at as being ineffective, because they do not allow you to dock like a structure can. But once again, TSOTH has lead the way in innovation, and developed a cutting edge POS defense doctrine that has seen our headquarters stave off multiple concerted attacks from groups like BLACKFLAG, Goonswarm Federation, and Pandemic Horde. Some of the biggest groups in the game have proven incapable of taking down our POS. I am pleased at how hard we have all worked to make this happen, and while our success should be recognized, it is also important not to get complacent. BLACKFLAG have repeatedly vowed to take down the POS, probably because they know every second it remains up is a testimonial to their incompetence and failure as an alliance. We have thus far repulsed all attempts, but the enemy will eventually try to adapt and come up with innovative tactics of their own. We must continue to work on further increasing the defensive abilities of our headquarters so that we do not lose our military edge.

BLACKFLAG Attack Research Oracle
Early this morning, BLACKFLAG attacked and destroyed an unarmed Oracle-class cruiser belonging to Carlos Warren in the Aokannitoh system. The ship was conducting a peaceful survey mission in the system when it was ambushed by BLACKFLAG spies. This brings the total TSOTH ship losses during the war to 4, following the destruction of 2 Griffins and a Blackbird in June. Meanwhile BLACKFLAG have lost 2 Leshak-class battleships, and our defence forces have shot down over 1,400 of their drones, resulting in critical shortages for the occupiers. Our intel is that only 18% of their original pre war stockpiles remain, and we anticipate seeing a significant drop in the frequency of their daily attacks on our structures within the next few weeks as they run out of supplies. The loss of a fourth ship is an annoyance, but this is the risk we face. We are fighting an aggressor that has no qualms in attacking civilian peaceful ships unprovoked. We will continue to fight this war, and your defence force stands ready to repulse any further attacks by the occupiers. We will crush the occupiers, we will destroy their structures. This war only ends with the complete destruction of BLACKFLAG and nothing less.
